U.S. Envoy Says Israel Will Withdraw From Southern Lebanon

A top U.S. envoy reassured that Israel will fully withdraw from southern Lebanon as called for in the cease-fire deal. Israeli troops have already pulled out from the southern town of Naqoura, and the withdrawals will continue until Israeli forces are fully out of Lebanon. However, it remains uncertain when the complete withdrawal will happen and whether the cease-fire agreement will be fully implemented by the end of the 60-day period. The cease-fire ended a 14-month conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, but there is growing frustration about the slow pace of fulfilling the terms of the agreement.
