The trip will allow her to address US foreign policy challenges and engage with US servicemembers deployed overseas. Harris plans to visit Changi Naval Base in Singapore to discuss issues involving China, then travel to Bahrain to visit the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet, which has been involved in protecting Israel and regional shipping. Her final stop will be Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, where she will emphasize the importance of NATO in deterring Russia. Harris has previously visited Germany and Singapore, and Bahrain will be her 22nd country visited during her term.
