Outgoing US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Paris to receive France's highest honor and discuss coordination on the Middle East. He will meet with President Emmanuel Macron, who will decorate him with the Legion of Honour. Blinken will also hold talks with Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on the Middle East, including Syria. He will work for a ceasefire in Gaza and then head to Rome for talks with European counterparts before joining President Biden on his final international trip to meet Pope Francis.
