Ram Shalom, a talented soccer player from Givat Ze'ev, was murdered by Hamas terrorists while trying to flee the Supernova music festival on October 7. He and his childhood friend Idan Dor were hiding from the attackers when they were killed. Ram, who had played soccer for over a decade, chose to join the Paratroopers Brigade in the IDF and later worked as a security guard and porter. He had plans to study electrical engineering and live in Miami with his brother. Ram's mother described him as respectful, mature, and always seeking to do good.
