Palestinian paediatrician Khaled Al-Saidani continues to treat war victims in Gaza despite losing his leg in an Israeli air strike. Using a prosthetic leg and an aluminum walker, Al-Saidani cares for children injured in the war at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The hospital is crowded with patients and their relatives, many of whom are receiving treatment for injuries from Israeli bombardment. The war in Gaza has taken a devastating toll on health care workers and medical facilities, with over 1,000 Palestinian health professionals killed since the war began. Despite the challenges, Al-Saidani remains determined to provide treatment to his patients.
