Ofir Yaron, a 51-year-old father of two, was killed by Hamas while trying to return to protect Kibbutz Magen on October 7. He was posthumously recognized as a fallen soldier and his funeral was held on October 17. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and five siblings.
