The international community must continue to pressure Israel to accept the creation of a Palestinian state even after a ceasefire in Gaza, according to Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa. Mustafa stated that the recent ceasefire came about due to international pressure, and that pressure must continue to be applied to show Israel that the veto power on peace and statehood for Palestinians will no longer be tolerated. The comments were made at the start of a meeting in Oslo of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. The meeting was held in the Oslo City Hall, where the Oslo accords were signed in 1993.
