Right-wing groups, including bereaved families, protest pending hostage release deal

Right-wing protesters demonstrate against a pending hostage release deal in the Gaza war, warning that the agreement may leave most captives behind and endanger national security. The deal, negotiated between Israel and Hamas, will gradually release 33 Israeli hostages over the first 42 days of the ceasefire. The remaining 65 hostages will only be freed if the sides can agree on a second phase for the truce. Right-wing groups, including bereaved families, have protested the deal, while another group representing the majority of hostage families welcomed the agreement but demanded the return of all hostages.
