The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is set to begin on Sunday, with the release of 33 Israeli hostages and almost 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. The first phase of the ceasefire will last six weeks, during which the Israeli army will pull back from some positions in Gaza and displaced Palestinians will be allowed to return. The second phase, which depends on negotiations, will involve the exchange of remaining hostages and the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. On Sunday, Israel will hand over 95 Palestinian prisoners and receive three hostages in return.
