A ceasefire in Gaza will not happen until Hamas provides a list of hostages to be released, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. The ceasefire was scheduled to start today at 8:30am local time. Hamas blamed the delay on technical field reasons but reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire deal. The deal, agreed by Israel's cabinet on Friday, would see the release of 33 of the 98 hostages over six weeks. The remaining hostages would be released in a second phase to be negotiated during the first phase.
