Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned recently released Palestinian prisoner Zakaria Zubeidi that any support for terrorism will not be accepted. Zubeidi, a former terror chief, was released as part of a hostage-ceasefire agreement with Hamas. Israel released 183 more Palestinian security prisoners on Saturday, following the release of three Israeli hostages by Hamas. Zubeidi organized numerous attacks during the Second Intifada and gained popularity among Palestinians after escaping from a maximum-security prison in 2021. The releases on Saturday bring the total number of Palestinian prisoners freed under the agreement to 583.
