Thirty-seven patients, including 34 children and three adults, were transferred from Gaza to Egypt on Saturday for medical treatment. The Rafah border crossing reopened for the first time since May 2024, allowing the patients to be transported. The director-general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed gratitude to the government of Egypt for their support and called for expedited medical evacuations through all possible routes.
