Jordan has reportedly informed Hamas that it plans to extradite Ahlam Tamimi, the mastermind behind the 2001 Sbarro bombing, to the United States for trial. Tamimi was convicted in an Israeli court but was released in 2011 and has been living in Jordan since. The US Justice Department has been seeking her extradition since 2017. Jordanian intelligence authorities have informed Hamas that Tamimi will be extradited unless a third country is willing to take her in. The report comes as Jordan's King Abdullah II is set to meet with US President Donald Trump on February 11.
