Fifteen Palestinian prisoners freed by Israel under the hostage-ceasefire agreement with Hamas have arrived in Turkey after being initially deported to Egypt, according to the Hamas prisoners media office. The first phase of the ceasefire has seen Hamas release 13 hostages and Israel release 583 Palestinian security prisoners, with some sent to Egypt. In addition, five Thai nationals were released by Hamas separately. Israel has stated that Palestinians convicted of killing Israelis should be permanently deported and not allowed to return to their homes in the West Bank or Gaza.
