The Defense Ministry's Directorate of Defense Research & Development has completed tests on new anti-drone defense systems in development. Several companies presented different solutions for the unmanned aerial vehicle threat, with successful systems moving forward with full Defense Ministry funding. The final tests demonstrated interception capabilities of UAVs of different ranges, speeds, and altitudes. The ministry plans to choose technologies for accelerated development and manufacturing to deploy new operational capabilities in the immediate future.
