Residents of the border town of Khiam in Lebanon are rebuilding their homes and businesses after the Israel-Hezbollah war left them homeless and caused widespread damage. Sabah Abdullah, a 66-year-old resident, is waiting for compensation from Hezbollah's construction arm for the damage to her home and grocery store. Israeli forces are planning to remain in strategic locations in southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire deadline. The war has resulted in over 4,000 deaths, 16,000 wounded, and billions of dollars in damage. Residents are hopeful for the future but remain uncertain due to the history of repeated wars with Israel.
