Chikli has been working to strengthen ties with European far-right parties, despite their association with Nazism. Bardella canceled his speech at a right-wing conference after Steve Bannon appeared to give a Nazi salute. NR, formerly National Front, was founded by Jean-Marie Le Pen and has a history of antisemitism.
