The Israeli Air Force struck a senior Hezbollah member involved in weapons smuggling to the terror group. The strike targeted Hezbollah's Unit 4400, responsible for transporting and smuggling Iranian weapons into Lebanon. The military stated that the operative was attacked while planning more smuggling. This comes after Israel carried out a similar operation the day before, targeting Hezbollah terrorists at a weapons manufacturing and storage facility. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah began in October 2023 and escalated into open war, but a ceasefire has largely held since November.
