Likud legal adviser Avi Halevi has called for Gallant's expulsion, citing his opposition to Netanyahu and his actions that assisted Likud's political opponents. Gallant has held a press conference arguing that his dismissal was due to his insistence on drafting Haredi men into the IDF and other issues.
