Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports to China surged 70% in December, reaching SR3.68 billion ($980 million), according to official data. The Kingdom exported plastic and rubber goods, chemical products, and transport parts to China. This increase in non-oil exports highlights the strengthening trade ties between Saudi Arabia and China, as well as Saudi Arabia's progress in diversifying its economy. The growth of the non-oil private sector in Saudi Arabia is also evident, with the Purchasing Managers' Index reaching its highest level in 10 years. The UAE was the top destination for Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports, followed by India and the US.
