Cpt. Iftach Gorny, a dairy farmer and reservist with the LOTAR counter-terror regional Nitzana team, was killed while battling the Hamas invasion of southern Israel. He was buried on October 15 and is survived by his wife, three children, and parents. Gorny was an integral part of the success and development of the small community of Be'er Milka near the Egyptian border. His daughter and wife shared heartfelt messages on social media, expressing their love and longing for him.
