Arab leaders, including Syria's Sharaa, are convening in Cairo for an Arab League summit to discuss an alternate plan to counter Donald Trump's Gaza depopulation plan. The summit, hosted by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, will also include the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Egypt has proposed a plan to relocate Palestinians to safe areas in Gaza while the cities are rebuilt. Hamas, however, rejects any form of non-Palestinian administration or foreign forces in Gaza.
