The BBC's director general, Tim Davie, has revealed that he pulled a documentary about children's lives in Gaza from iPlayer because he 'lost trust' in it. The film, titled Gaza: How to Survive a War Zone, faced criticism after it was discovered that its 13-year-old narrator was the son of a Hamas official. The BBC has already apologised for 'serious flaws' in the film's making. Davie stated that the BBC received around 500 complaints about the film being biased against Israel and another 1,800 complaints about its removal from iPlayer.
