Nandy says BBC review of Gaza documentary must look at finance and...

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has called on the BBC to review the failings in the broadcast of a Gaza documentary, including translation and finance issues, to prevent a repeat of such a serious error. The documentary, Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone, was removed from BBC iPlayer after it was revealed that the child narrator's father had worked for Hamas. The BBC has apologized for the making of the program and launched an internal probe. Nandy emphasized the need for the review to be swift and rigorous, including a financial audit and addressing concerns about translation.
