Leket Israel, the National Food Bank, is the largest food rescue organization in Israel, distributing fresh produce and meals to over 415,000 people each week. The organization plays a crucial role in providing nutritious food to vulnerable populations, including Holocaust survivors, the elderly, and single-parent households. In the wake of the Swords of Iron War, Leket has supported farmers in distress and helped rehabilitate their fields to ensure that Israeli produce continues to feed those in need. Additionally, Leket launched a project to deliver hot meals and soups to the residents of Kiryat Shmona, who were subjected to continuous attacks and unable to leave their homes to buy groceries. As Purim approaches, Leket is launching its annual Matanot Le'evyonim campaign to provide critical support to individuals facing economic hardship after the war.
