The Israeli cabinet has approved over NIS 1 billion in coalition funds for Haredim, out of a total of NIS 5 billion. The funds include money for yeshivas, Haredi institutions, and causes, as well as national religious causes. Other approved items include funding for far-right anti-LGBT politician Avi Maoz's Jewish National Identity Authority, the World Zionist Organization's settlement division, and security in West Bank settlements. The 2025 state budget must be passed by the end of March to avoid triggering early elections.
