The trial of seven people charged with cyberbullying and death threats against the artistic director of the Paris Olympics' opening and closing ceremonies has begun in a Paris court. The abuse targeted Thomas Jolly, who received homophobic and antisemitic abuse on social networks after his controversial opening spectacle. The seven individuals, aged 22 to 79, face charges of death threats, aggravated insults, and cyberbullying.
