Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has made two senior appointments in the military. Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor is appointed as the next chief of the Southern Command, replacing Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman. Brig. Gen. Itzik Cohen is appointed as the next head of the Operations Directorate, replacing Maj. Gen. Oded Basiuk.
