Maj. Gen. Tamir Yadai has entered the role of deputy IDF chief of staff, replacing Maj. Gen. Amir Baram. Yadai has a long history of service in the IDF, including leading the Home Front Command during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has now taken on the position of deputy chief of staff under Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.
