The Kingdom has invested in US-based EV manufacturer Lucid and is set to launch its own electric vehicle brand, Ceer, in 2026. Saudi Arabia is also prioritizing the development of a self-sufficient automotive supply chain and has allocated $9 billion to EV-related materials. The country is working on integrating AI and automation into the automotive sector and is fostering partnerships with global tech firms to enhance the digital infrastructure for smart mobility solutions.
