Lion cubs and monkeys were smuggled into Israel from Jordan and Egypt using drones, according to the Israel Police. Four lion cubs and 11 vervet monkeys have been found so far, with two monkeys still unaccounted for. The smugglers used drones capable of carrying up to 70 kilograms. Police have not made any arrests yet. The use of drones for smuggling weapons and drugs has been increasing, leading to an overflow of firearms in Israel and causing prices to drop.
