Israeli defense tech startup Kela Technologies is emerging from stealth to provide a software platform for Western militaries to integrate commercial technologies into existing military systems. The startup was founded in response to the changing face of warfare and the need for armies to adapt to new technologies. Kela aims to help militaries integrate new sensors, drones, and AI applications into their systems. The company has received backing from US venture capital funds Sequoia Capital and Lux Capital, as well as IQT, the investment arm of the US Central Intelligence Agency.
