Israel restarts Gaza strikes, blames Hamas for not releasing hostages as truce collapses

Israel has restarted strikes on Gaza after the collapse of a ceasefire, blaming Hamas for not releasing Israeli hostages. At least 232 Palestinians, including children, have been killed. Israel refused to hold talks regarding the terms of phase two of the ceasefire, which was supposed to begin on February 3. The US envoy presented a bridge proposal that Hamas rejected. The White House and President Trump have supported Israel's actions. Hamas has called on mediators to hold Netanyahu responsible for breaking the ceasefire and demanded Arab and Muslim countries to back Palestinian resistance.
