Russia and Ukraine have exchanged 175 prisoners of war each, according to Russia's Defence Ministry. The exchange was finalized during a call between US President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin. An additional 22 heavily wounded Ukrainian prisoners were also handed over as a goodwill gesture. The deal was mediated by the United Arab Emirates.
