A kosher bagel store in Philadelphia owned by an Arab American has lost Jewish customers and is facing calls to cancel its kosher certification after the owner was accused of celebrating the murder of Israelis on an antisemitic Facebook page. A petition to withdraw the certification has garnered over 2,000 signatures. The owner, Nick Sammoudi, denies hating Jews and claims that he was hacked and did not write some of the posts. The Pennsylvania kosher certification agency has refused to drop the certification.
