Israel's national water company, Mekorot, reported a net profit of NIS 215 million for 2024, a 14% increase from the previous year. Total revenue reached NIS 5.36 billion, driven by a rise in water sales. Water usage in agriculture increased by 9%, resulting in a total water supply of 1.87 billion cubic meters. Mekorot took financial actions, including increasing equity and raising NIS 2.4 billion via bond issuances. CEO Amit Lang emphasized the importance of investing in infrastructure and technology.
