Israeli forces killed a Palestinian identified as a Hamas fighter in a raid in the West Bank city of Qalqilya. The Palestinian ministry of health identified the young man as 19-year-old Baraa Yusuf. Israel's security forces stated that he was planning an imminent attack and began firing at police officers during the raid. Two other individuals were also neutralized during the exchange of fire. Hamas confirmed that Yusuf was a member of its armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades.
