Police seek to question ex-Netanyahu aide living in Serbia in 'Qatargate' case

Police are seeking to question Yisrael Einhorn, a former aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who now lives in Serbia, in connection with the 'Qatargate' case. Einhorn's mother, Talia Einhorn, has recused herself from a committee reviewing the replacement of Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar amid an investigation into alleged ties between the prime minister's confidants and Qatar. The investigation is focused on the alleged leaking of stolen military intelligence and receiving payments from Qatar. Einhorn has not been questioned in the case as he lives abroad.
