A survey conducted by UK-based travel company Ocean Florida found that certain vacation photos have become overused clichés on social media. The top offenders include the 'hot dog legs' photo, in-flight selfies, exaggerated champagne toasts at the airport, hotel room mirror selfies, and gentle waves lapping at feet. The survey also revealed that 19% of respondents admitted to booking a trip after seeing a destination on their social media feed. Ocean Florida's marketing director emphasized the importance of travel photos that tell a story and advised travelers to ditch clichés and capture the experience instead.
