Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich briefly resigns as a cabinet minister and resumes his seat as an MK in order to push Otzma Yehudit MK Yitzhak Kroizer out of parliament. The move is in response to a violation of agreements between Smotrich, Otzma Yehudit chief Itamar Ben Gvir, and Likud party leader Benjamin Netanyahu. Otzma Yehudit is being criticized for not fulfilling their commitment to return MK Zvi Sukkot to the Knesset. Sukkot calls on Otzma Yehudit to uphold their agreements and find someone to resign through the Norwegian Law.
