Approximately 150 Israeli high school students were stranded at a Turkish airport for over 12 hours after their plane made an emergency landing due to engine issues. A second plane dispatched to pick them up also had technical problems, prolonging their wait. Concerns were raised by parents about the students' safety in Turkey, given the country's hostile attitude towards Israel. Eventually, a plane arrived to transport the students to Poland, where they will visit Nazi concentration camps and learn about the Holocaust.
