Iran recruited a Georgian drug trafficker to assassinate an Azerbaijani rabbi as part of a plot that was foiled in January, according to a report. The Quds Force promised the hitman $200,000 for killing the rabbi and attacking an education center. The plot was discovered by Azerbaijan's security services, and the two suspects were arrested and charged with conspiring to commit a terrorist act. This incident follows the kidnapping and murder of another rabbi in the United Arab Emirates last year.
