The second businessman questioned in the Qatargate probe has been identified as David Saig after a court gag order was lifted. Saig is an Israeli citizen with experience in consultancy work and previously worked in one of Israel's security agencies. His attorney claims that he has no connection to the suspicions being investigated. Another businessman, Gil Birger, was also investigated for his role in transferring money to Netanyahu's military spokesperson for work done for a pro-Qatar lobbyist.
