Levin's comments come ahead of the court hearing petitions against Bar's dismissal. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cited lack of trust as the reason for firing Bar, but critics claim it is a conflict of interest due to the Shin Bet's investigation into alleged unlawful ties between Netanyahu's aides and Qatari officials. Levin has also threatened to dismiss Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.
