Israel said worried as Abraham Accords partner Sudan grows closer to Iran

Israel is concerned that Sudan, a partner in the Abraham Accords, is growing closer to Iran as it seeks assistance in the midst of a civil war. Sudan's military leader, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, has renewed diplomatic ties with Iran and received military assistance from Tehran. Al-Burhan turned to Iran after being disappointed by Israel's failure to provide military support. Sudan's cooperation with Iran has worried Israel, as Iran is openly hostile to Israel. The conflict in Sudan has resulted in a humanitarian crisis and has attracted involvement from various foreign players.
