William Finn, a Tony-winning musical theater writer known for his clever lyrics and poignant exploration of character, has died at the age of 73. He won two Tony Awards for his work on 'Falsettos' and had a popular hit with 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.' Finn was widely admired for his unique style and his ability to tackle complex subjects.
