Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto has stated that the country is ready to temporarily shelter Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza. He estimates that the first wave could include around 1,000 individuals. The president has instructed the foreign minister to discuss with the Palestinian side and other parties on how to evacuate impacted Palestinians to Indonesia. The victims would stay in Indonesia until they have fully recovered and the situation in Gaza is safe for their return. Indonesia is advocating for a two-state solution and has been providing humanitarian aid.
