At least 21 killed in Russian missile attack on northeast Ukraine's Sumy city center

At least 21 people were killed and 83 wounded in a Russian missile attack on the city center of Sumy in northeast Ukraine. The attack occurred two days after a meeting between White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin, despite calls from US President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky called for a strong response from Europe and the US, stating that only bastards could commit such an act. The attack on Sumy comes after previous attacks in Kryvyi Rig and increasing pressure on the city from Moscow.
