The Israel Defense Forces probe found significant failings in the military's response to the attack, including arriving too late to secure the community and issues with the evacuation. Three civilians were killed in the attack, and the security team was ineffective in stopping the terrorists. The probe also revealed that the IDF was unprepared for such an event and lacked an intelligence warning.
