The large forest fire near Beit Shemesh is now under control after 20 hours, according to the Fire and Rescue Service. Firefighters, aided by firefighting planes, are working to put out the remaining points of fire. All affected communities have returned to normal and roads have been reopened. Approximately 2,500 acres of land have been burned.
